Everything people ask before they start The Bogey Plan.
Is there swing instruction?
No. Every lesson is about decisions: where to aim, which club to hit and when to lay up. If you want swing help, a local PGA professional is the right call.
Do I need special equipment?
No. A phone, and a rangefinder or GPS if you already use one.
Can I use the app in a tournament or a round I post?
Use Posting mode. It shows only your pre-round Game Plan and your stored yardage chart, with no live recommendations, in line with Rule 4.3. Check your club’s and committee’s rules too.
How long are lessons?
Between 3 and 10 minutes. Each one ends with one rule to take to the course.
What if I don’t know my club distances?
Module 2 shows you how to find them on the range with a simple 30-ball routine. Until then, enter three clubs and the app estimates the rest.
Who is The Bogey Plan for?
Weekend golfers who usually shoot between 90 and 99, play at least twice a month and want fewer blow-up holes. If you already break 85, or you want swing lessons, it isn’t for you.
What does it cost?
$127 when we re-open, paid once. You keep lifetime access to the lessons, the tools and future updates. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you when it re-opens.
What’s the refund policy?
Play a few rounds with it. If it’s not for you, email us within 30 days for a full refund. No questions asked, and it isn’t tied to your score.
Does the app adjust yardages for slope, wind or temperature?
No, on purpose. Target lines use only the carry numbers you enter, so there are no “plays-like” distances anywhere in the app.
Does the app work without signal on the course?
Yes. The Caddie Card works offline and syncs your round when you’re back in signal.
Yards or meters?
Either. Pick your units in Settings and every chart and target line follows.
Does The Bogey Plan promise a score?
No. It’s a system built to help you break 90 by finding the strokes hiding in doubles, penalties and 3-putts. Results depend on your own play, practice and course conditions.
